A toast to a tote

Our toast of the town is headed to brunch to meet the girls. She said she was on her way 10 minutes ago but of course she was still getting ready. Or rather, fixing a liquid eyeliner attempt gone wrong. How do they beauty vloggers make it look so easy??

She’s been dying to try this place. It’s been making all the lists- Eater and the Infatuation namely. Getting a reservation would have been impossible if it weren’t for the friend of the friend she met at last weekend’s brunch. How’s that for networking?

Her ride calls and just as she steps out the door she turns around to grab one more thing. Her favorite tote. She is after all headed to a brunch with her favorite boss babes. She knows they’ll love it. Not to mention, it will make for the perfect Instagram accessory. Placed on the table beside a plate of avocado toast and a latte with art fit for the Met.

She throws it over her shoulder then tucks her way into the car that’s waiting for her just outside. She’s Ubering of course. Because there will because brunch without booze (Mimosa for her) is just a sad breakfast.
